Description

You will develop and scale machine learning models and classifiers within distributed, multicore, and GPU-accelerated environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Adapt standard machine learning methods to leverage parallel environments like distributed clusters and GPUs.
• Develop scalable classifiers and tools using machine learning, data regression, and rules-based models.
• Synthesize requirements from cross-functional teams to inform technical direction.
• Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team.
• Improve system quality through code reviews, testing, monitoring, and proactive rollout strategies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering (3+ years if you have a PhD).
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, or data mining.
• Experience developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact.
• Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or Hack.
• Experience developing and debugging in C/C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of scripting languages including Perl, PHP, or shell scripts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science.
