Description

You will lead and scale the machine learning engineering function.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of machine learning engineers.
• Drive technical roadmap strategy and own end-to-end ML initiative execution.
• Guide the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for intelligent search.
• Set performance standards, monitor system reliability, and optimize model accuracy and scalability.
• Align ML initiatives with business goals and communicate progress to leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in applied machine learning, preferably in ranking/relevance.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or management roles guiding production-grade projects.
• Proven technical expertise at Staff Engineer (L6) level or higher.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, and C++.
• Experience deploying and optimizing machine learning models in production environments.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Master's degree in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LLMs and RAG architectures.
