Description

You will lead the development of Magento-based e-commerce solutions and oversee the consolidation of multiple D2C tech solutions onto a single Magento platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Magento solutions, focusing on code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Mentor the development team and provide technical guidance on e-commerce best practices.
• Customize and extend Magento core features, including product catalogs, payment gateways, and order fulfillment workflows.
• Develop and maintain Magento extensions, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Build and modify front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate web services via REST and SOAP to connect the platform with external systems.
• Implement caching, scaling, and multi-store, multi-lingual, or multi-currency configurations.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of real-world Magento development experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of PHP web development experience with deep knowledge of OOP and MVC.
• Expertise in Magento code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
• Proficiency in MySQL-based database concepts and e-commerce data organization.
• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, React, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services integrations.
• Proven ability to implement caching and scaling techniques for website performance.
• Experience managing multi-store, multi-lingual, and multi-currency implementations.

Preferred Skills

• Magento Certification.
• Experience with ERP integrations with Magento.
• Experience with cloud hosting solutions like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Magento Commerce (on-prem/Cloud), BI Pro, and Order Management.
