Key Skills: Mainframe Cobol VSAM JCL DB2, Mainframe, Production Support

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, BRDs, and design documents.
• Understand existing applications and identify required changes.
• Develop and maintain COBOL programs, JCLs, and PROCs.
• Follow coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and integration testing.
• Communicate project status and issues to the Team Lead/Project Manager.
• Prepare all required deliverables for deployment.
• Support deployment activities and ensure all required components are available.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents and problems.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, design documents, test plans, test scripts, and deployment documents.
• Work with application, platform, and security teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support access management, security, and authorization requirements.
• Support integration between enterprise security platforms and mainframe applications.
• Ensure proper handling and protection of sensitive data.

Skills Required:

• 3-7 years of experience in Mainframe Development and Support.
• Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Good knowledge of Mainframe application support.
• Experience with access management, security, and authorization controls.
• Knowledge of data protection and sensitive data handling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in production support and incident management.
• Knowledge of data masking, IAM, or enterprise security solutions is an added advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
