Description

You will manage and support batch processing and scheduling within a multiplatform mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and schedule batch jobs using CA-7 or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Resolve batch abends, including SB-37, SE-37, catalog issues, and JCL errors.
• Provide immediate fixes and resubmit jobs through CA-7-CA11.
• Utilize version control tools like Endevor to manage code changes.
• Manage service requests and workflows through ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe administration.
• Proficiency with CA-7 batch monitoring and scheduling.
• Expertise with JCL, TSO, ISPF, FileAID, and SPOOL.
• Strong Unix Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Endevor or similar version control tools.
• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow for service management.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience with Control-M.
• Advanced scripting expertise.
