Description

You will manage and maintain IMS environments and database organization within a z/OS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define, install, and modify IMS resources, including databases, programs, and transactions using DRD.
• Configure and manage IMS in a parallel sysplex environment to ensure high availability.
• Maintain IMS Catalog, managed ACBs, and IMS components such as DLI and DBRC.
• Utilize DL/I, Rexx, and JCL for automation and system programming tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe administration.
• Deep knowledge of IMS environments, database organization, and logical data models.
• Proficiency with z/OS, JCL, and ISPF.
• Experience with IMSTOOLS, SYSVIEW, and CCDC.
• Automation experience using Netview.
• Programming skills in Rexx and DL/I.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MQ, DB2, CICS, ACF2, RACF, or TOP SECRET.
• Assembler programming skills, including creation and modification of exits.
