Description

You will own production support and system administration for IBM Z/VSE environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 production support and lead critical technical calls to resolve system issues.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex technical problems and incidents.
• Manage deployment activities, including auditing and freezing ChangeMan packages to ensure production readiness.
• Analyze Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to design and visualize necessary system changes.
• Build and maintain programs, JCLs, and PROCs while executing independent unit, system, and integration testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Mainframe Systems Administration or Production Support.
• Specialized, advanced hands-on experience with the IBM Z/VSE operating system.
• Strong proficiency in Mainframe utilities, specifically JCL, VSAM, and PROCs.
• Expert-level knowledge of ChangeMan for version control and deployment management.
• Proven ability to lead incident management calls and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
