Description

You will administer IBM z/OS operating systems and manage mainframe infrastructure for a large-scale enterprise environment. You own system sustainment, including installations, configuration changes, and version upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade z/OS environments and core subsystems.
• Perform system initialization (IPL), monitor performance, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Ensure system security and compliance using mainframe security protocols and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve interdependent system challenges.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to enterprise standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM z/OS operating systems and mainframe architecture.
• Expertise in mainframe security, specifically Top Secret (TSS).
• Hands-on experience with CICS, DB2, MQ, ChangeMan, and Endevor.
• Proficiency in system initialization processes and operational support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure troubleshooting.
