Description

You will maintain and support core business logic on mainframe platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot existing applications.
• Utilize JCL for job scheduling, execution, and monitoring.
• Maintain documentation of system processes and updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe environments.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL development and maintenance.
• Expertise in DB2, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience with JCL for job scheduling and execution.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues.
• Familiarity with mainframe debugging tools and techniques.
• Good understanding of mainframe operational workflows and batch processing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
