Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications within complex data and infrastructure architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Build and maintain applications using CICS, DB2, VSAM, and MQ.
• Implement application logic using Java, Spring Boot, and REST API services.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues using tools like Expeditor.
• Collaborate with large teams to meet organizational goals and software improvement targets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in COBOL mainframe application development.
• 7+ years of experience with CICS, DB2, VSAM, and MQ.
• Proficiency with Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, Spring Boot, and WebSphere Application Server (WOLA).
• Experience with File Aid, Stored Procedures, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, s-FTP, XML, CLIST, and REXX.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing with financial messaging formats including SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 (pain, pacs, camt).
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
