Description

You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise mainframe applications while leading legacy modernization initiatives.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain financial, reporting, and interface systems running on the mainframe.
• Lead data cleansing, transformation, and migration efforts to Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mainframe systems with modern enterprise applications.
• Analyze production issues, perform feasibility assessments, and implement preventive measures.
• Document technical processes, system architecture, and solution designs for modernization projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL.
• 10+ years of experience with CICS.
• 10+ years of experience with JCL.
• 10+ years of experience with VSAM files and hierarchical database structures.
• 10+ years of experience migrating or converting data from mainframe applications to Oracle or SQL-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience performing mainframe application analysis, decommissioning, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience engaging business and technical stakeholders during legacy data cleansing and migration projects.
• Knowledge of financial, reporting, or benefit payment applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives and legacy system transformations.
