Description

Lead development and production support for mainframe applications while managing a global team of 6-8 members.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a global team of 6-8 engineers in application development and production support.
• Manage integrations with external systems using TIBCO, EDI, or FTP to connect with AS400, Tandem, Manhattan, or Blue Yonder.
• Perform mainframe performance tuning and MIPS optimization to ensure system efficiency.
• Oversee mainframe-to-SAP migration efforts and maintain application stability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in mainframe application development and production support.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CA-Datacom/CA-Ideal.
• Strong experience with integration patterns involving AS400, Tandem, and TIBCO.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and manage cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with warehouse management, pricing, procurement, or sales systems.
• Experience with mainframe-to-SAP migration.
