Description

You will design, develop, test, and implement mainframe applications within Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of mainframe applications including design, development, and implementation.
• Write stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and DDL/DML queries.
• Maintain existing applications and interface files to meet user requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and assist with integration testing.
• Gather and analyze user requirements to determine design feasibility.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of mainframe experience using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and TSO.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting complex mainframe applications.
• Proficiency in writing DB2 SQL statements for adhoc queries and SPUFI.
• Experience working within SDLC using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using TELON COBOL code generator.
• Experience with Financial or Child Support applications.
