Description

You will lead the modernization of Taxpayer and Revenue Accounting systems through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and perform system design, including reverse engineering existing systems.
• Break down systems into components, interactions, and interfaces; present designs to users and technical communities.
• Develop detailed design documents, program specifications, and perform coding, unit, and integration testing.
• Write and tune SQL, perform application performance tuning, and provide production support.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support user testing efforts.

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience with Government Taxation organizations, specifically Tax & Revenue Accounting Systems.
• 7 years of experience designing DB2 or IDMS database structures for enterprise taxation or revenue systems.
• 7 years of experience with IBM DataStage.
• 7 years of experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS and IBM DB2 for LUW using XQuery.
• 7 years of experience with Websphere Process Server design using JMS trigger queues, XML business objects, and DB2/XML.
• 7 years of experience with IDMS and DMLO in a mainframe environment.
• 7 years of experience with COBOL programming in an IBM Mainframe environment utilizing TSO and MVS JCL.
• 7 years of experience with IBM MQ Series.
• 7 years of experience with CICS and APS (Application Productivity System).

Preferred Skills

• 7 years of experience in application performance analysis and tuning.
