Description

Lead the design, implementation, and migration of mainframe infrastructure services and hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute mainframe hardware migrations, including configuration of IOCP, IODF, and HCD.
• Plan and build new mainframe infrastructure services and manage storage and tape library migrations.
• Analyze system performance to tune and optimize resource usage.
• Manage and optimize workloads on IBM mainframe systems using Workload Management.
• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Mainframe Administrator with 5+ years as an Architect.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with IOCP, IODF, and HCD configuration.
• Knowledge of CICS and MQ.
• Proficiency in mainframe network technology including VTAM, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
• Experience with mainframe security protocols such as RACF and cryptography techniques.
• Strong analytical skills for solving complex data and system issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL, JCL, and Assembler.
• Knowledge of DB2 and VSAM database management systems.
