Lead mainframe architecture and modernization initiatives, guiding the transition of legacy workloads to cloud-native platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with application architects and development teams to implement solutions and deliver them to production.
• Communicate enterprise architecture standards and best practices, ensuring compliance in mainframe applications and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership across teams to drive digital transformation and workload migration.
• Apply enterprise design patterns to modernize mainframe systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in mainframe architecture and development.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming language.
• Strong expertise in DB2 and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS environment.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization for workload migration.
• Understanding of enterprise design patterns.
