Description

This role focuses on architectural guidance and modernization efforts within legacy mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using legacy technologies, including COBOL, RPG, and Assembler.
• Participate in code migration and data transformation during rehosting initiatives.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to support modernization efforts on GCP.
• Manage batch job execution, console monitoring, and production control.
• Provide critical input and guidance to migration teams on ongoing projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
• Experience with data access technologies such as EasyTrieve, IDEA, and DataCom.
• Proficiency in RPG and Assembler (ASM).
• Familiarity with MQ for interfacing systems.
• Experience leveraging GCP for modernization.
