Description

You will drive solution approaches for technology modernization within the OM F Loan Accounting System team as a hands-on individual contributor. You will design and implement application solutions across mainframe legacy systems, on-premises, and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction and actionable recommendations to leadership and business partners.
• Develop and maintain application development strategies, best practices, patterns, and proof of concepts.
• Lead development efforts around DevOps, monitoring, alerting, and testing for core applications.
• Create documentation for proposed strategies to support executive decision-making.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in solution and enterprise design with a focus on full-stack application development.
• Direct hands-on experience with IBM mainframe legacy systems (zSeries).
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, and z/OS Connect.
• Experience with MQ Series, Java, and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, DB2, REST API, and JSON.
• Experience with source code management tools such as ChangeMan or Endeavor.
• Proven ability to architect high-impact applications in both cloud-native and on-prem environments.
• Experience with SDLC, test strategies, and technology optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to EasyTrieve and Assembler.
