Description

Define and lead the architecture strategy for mission-critical enterprise mainframe platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture strategies, technology roadmaps, and modernization pathways for mainframe environments.
• Oversee scalable, secure solution designs leveraging COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and z/OS.
• Drive legacy system transformation programs and evaluate cloud integration approaches.
• Guide and mentor development teams on architectural best practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders and infrastructure teams to ensure system resilience and governance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of enterprise experience in mainframe architecture.
• Deep expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and z/OS.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Ability to oversee solution design for high-performance and secure systems.
• Strong background in legacy system transformation and cloud integration evaluation.
• Proven track record of mentoring development teams.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional global groups.
