Description

You will design, optimize, and manage mainframe computer systems to support core business processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect mainframe systems to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Forecast resource needs through capacity planning and recommend hardware or software upgrades.
• Optimize system performance by monitoring for bottlenecks and tuning batch and online transaction processing.
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with mainframe systems in a senior or architect role.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with CICS and DB2.
• Proficiency in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of security protocols and industry compliance standards.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
