You will architect and maintain core mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using COBOL on z/OS.
• Manage and optimize batch processing workflows using JCL.
• Develop and maintain applications utilizing IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Utilize CICS functionalities for transaction processing.
• Integrate mainframe components with modern services using AWS and Java.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in mainframe environments.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB, IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS transaction processing.
• Ability to write and manage complex JCL scripts.
• Experience with AWS and Java development.
• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration (dataset management, security).
