Description

You will lead the architecture and modernization of mainframe systems, integrating legacy IMS, CICS, and DB2 components with AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mainframe solutions using COBOL, z/OS, JCL, IMS/DB, IMS/DC, and CICS.
• Integrate mainframe workloads with AWS services to support hybrid cloud strategies.
• Manage system administration tasks including dataset management and security protocols.
• Develop and optimize batch processing scripts and transaction processing interfaces.
• Leverage Java technology exposure to bridge legacy systems with modern applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Architect or Senior Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming and JCL script management.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS mainframe operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB and IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Proven experience integrating mainframe systems with AWS.
• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration, security, and dataset management.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Java technology for legacy integration.
