Description

You will architect and maintain mainframe systems while integrating them with AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mainframe solutions using COBOL, z/OS, and JCL.
• Manage IMS database concepts (IMS/DB and IMS/DC) and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain CICS transaction processing applications and interfaces.
• Integrate mainframe workloads with AWS services for hybrid cloud environments.
• Perform system administration tasks including dataset management and security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development and architecture.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming languages.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS database technologies (IMS/DB, IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DB2 and Java in a mainframe context.
