Description

You will translate business requirements into technical solutions for complex IBM Mainframe applications and integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Application Architects and development teams to implement and deliver solutions into production.
• Communicate and enforce Architecture and Enterprise standards within Mainframe applications and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership across teams to support digital transformation and modernization efforts.
• Lead the transition of Mainframe workloads to other platforms, including Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Mainframe architecture and solution design.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming language.
• Strong expertise in DB2 SQL and z/OS.
• Understanding of Enterprise Design Patterns and their application.
• Experience integrating Mainframe systems with other platforms.
• Insurance domain knowledge is required.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of transitioning Mainframe workloads to Kubernetes or cloud platforms.
