Description

You will lead the development of online issuer authorization applications and payment processing systems on the mainframe.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance issuer mandates using Assembler and CICS.
• Perform impact analysis, create design documents, and estimate project timelines.
• Manage the full SDLC including code reviews, testing, and post-implementation validation.
• Execute change releases, deployments, and monitor production environments.
• Provide weekend support, peak season monitoring, and production troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe project development.
• Expertise in Assembler and CICS (mandatory).
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Hands-on experience with ISPF, IOF, CA7, and Endeavor.
• Experience using File-Aid, File-Master, SPUFI, and REXX.
• Capability to use debugging tools such as Xpeditor or Abend-Aid for batch and online environments.
• Experience working within Scrum models using Jira.
• Knowledge of incident and change management request tools.
• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).
