Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications, focusing on online issuer authorization and payment processing logic.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement online issuer authorization applications and payment processing logic.
• Lead development efforts for associates, managing issuer mandates and enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and post-implementation validation for projects.
• Manage impact analysis, design documentation, change releases, and deployment cycles.
• Provide support during peak seasons, weekends, and production monitoring.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on project development experience on mainframes.
• Mandatory expertise in Assembler and CICS.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience with ISPF command utilities, IOF, CA7, Endevor, and File-Aid/File-Master.
• Familiarity with scripting tools such as REXX and SPUFI.
• Understanding of SDLC and experience working within a Scrum/Jira environment.
• Experience with batch and online debugging tools (e.g., Xpeditor, Abend-Aid).
