Description

You will extract business logic from legacy Mainframe assembler code to support migration efforts to open systems.

Responsibilities

• Extract business knowledge and logic from existing Mainframe assembler code.
• Explain assembler functionality and technical concepts to Java teams migrating code.
• Gather and analyze requirements to translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and execute unit test scenarios to ensure successful code migration.
• Present technical designs to peers and Product Owners for approval.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development using Assembler language.
• Proven experience working with large and complex Mainframe implementations.
• Ability to translate complex assembler code into functional concepts for non-mainframe teams.
• Experience with all lifecycle components of migration projects.
• Strong technical documentation and requirement analysis skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Java knowledge.
• Card domain experience.
