Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications while leading disaster recovery efforts for business applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop within legacy Mainframe TSO environments and modern server or container environments.
• Lead disaster recovery processes for supported business applications.
• Modernize high-volume data processing from mainframe systems to scalable on-prem distributed or cloud microservices.
• Write technical design documentation and participate in team design sessions.
• Manage batch processing and file transmissions in high-volume settings.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
• Experience with CA7, MQ, and File Transmission (FTP/NDM).
• Working knowledge of z/OS, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
• Ability to work in both legacy mainframe environments and modern object-oriented environments using common IDEs.
• Experience with high-volume batch processing.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Php, Python, Typescript, Angular, Docker, Css, and Node.js.
