Description

You will design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using Assembler, Connex, and Switch configurations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mainframe applications and systems using Assembler language.
• Implement Connex and Switch configurations to enable secure communication between mainframe systems and external platforms.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to mainframe applications, Connex, and Switch configurations.
• Conduct code reviews, performance analysis, and optimization to ensure system efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Assembler Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Assembler language programming.
• Hands-on experience with Connex and Switch technologies, including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within team-oriented environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Certifications in mainframe technologies or Connex/Switch platforms.
