Description

You will own low-level programming and code analysis on the mainframe platform, focusing on legacy system maintenance and reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code using Assembler and COBOL.
• Analyze existing code to create detailed design specifications.
• Perform reverse engineering tasks on legacy systems.
• Manage data structures and database interactions using VSAM and DB2.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in Assembler and COBOL.
• Experience with JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Hands-on use of EXPEDITOR and FILE-AID.
• Experience with CICS.
• Strong analytical skills for reading and interpreting complex code.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in reverse engineering.
• Exposure to Cloud or distributed technologies.
