Description

You will own mainframe code analysis, design specification, and legacy system maintenance using Assembler and COBOL.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze existing code to develop detailed design specifications.
• Perform reverse engineering tasks on legacy systems.
• Maintain and manage mainframe applications using Assembler and COBOL.
• Utilize mainframe utilities for data management and debugging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe programming.
• Proficiency in Assembler and COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with JCL and VSAM.
• Experience working with DB2.
• Proficiency using EXPEDITOR and FILE-AID.
• Experience with CICS.
• Strong analytical skills for code reading and specification creation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reverse engineering.
• Exposure to Cloud and distributed technologies.
