Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test application programs using IBM Assembler.
• Debug and troubleshoot mainframe applications for correct and efficient function.
• Document the design and usage guidelines for assembler programs.
• Provide technical support for mainframe systems, optimizing performance and ensuring coding standard compliance.
• Translate system requirements into efficient, low-level machine code in collaboration with architects and analysts.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in IBM Assembler.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Deep knowledge of mainframe operating systems, specifically z/OS.
