Description

You will develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications for a complex financial services environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance system applications using Assembler and related mainframe tools.
• Support production environments, including availability for on-call rotations as needed.
• Lead moderate to complex projects by working independently with IT and business units.
• Recommend strategies to improve existing system applications and internal business processes.
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members on technical processes and methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with Assembler.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and MQ.
• Strong understanding of mainframe infrastructure.
• Experience with application development methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work within complex internal business functions and financial environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Intertest.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies.
