Description

You will manage, modernize, and maintain high-volume data processing workflows within a mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Manage batch processing and file transmissions using FTP and NDM.
• Execute data transformation projects to migrate mainframe processing to scalable on-prem distributed or cloud-based microservices and containers.
• Oversee messaging and scheduling tasks using MQ and CA7.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 and VSAM.
• Experience with CA7 and MQ.
• Expertise in high-volume batch processing and file transmission (FTP/NDM).
• Knowledge of modernizing mainframe processes into microservices and containers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
