Description

You will develop and support mainframe applications using Assembler and CICS, managing the full lifecycle from design to production deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform impact analysis, create design documents, and conduct code reviews for mainframe applications.
• Manage release and deployment processes while providing ongoing production support.
• Debug batch and online applications using Xpeditor and Abend-AID.
• Support peak seasons, weekend releases, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Handle issuer authorization applications and payment processing systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Mainframe technologies.
• Expertise in Assembler and CICS development.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Proficiency with ISPF utilities, IOF, CA7, and Endevor.
• Experience using File-Aid, File-Master, and SPUFI.
• Skill in using REXX.
• Experience with Jira in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with incident and change management tools.

Preferred Skills

• Strong documentation, testing, and validation skills.
