Description

You will own mainframe development, production support, and team mentorship for legacy systems in Omaha.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support production mainframe systems, including on-call availability for incident resolution.
• Develop solutions by planning delivery and answering technical questions for junior staff.
• Mentor team members and teach improved development processes.
• Recommend strategies for improving existing system applications.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Assembler, CICS, COBOL, DB2, and MQ.
• Minimum 5+ years of working experience in Assembler environments.
• Strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Proven ability to work on moderate to complex projects and issues.
• Understanding of complex internal business processes or functions.
• Experience supporting production systems.
• Ability to work independently with IT and business units.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of related IT experience.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies.
