Description

You will design, code, and test application programs using IBM Assembler language on mainframe systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code in IBM Assembler, translating system requirements into efficient low-level machine code.
• Execute debugging and troubleshooting of mainframe applications to ensure correct and efficient functionality.
• Document assembler program designs, explaining operational logic and providing usage guidelines.
• Provide technical support for mainframe systems, optimizing performance while ensuring compliance with coding standards.
• Collaborate with system architects and analysts to understand specifications and implement solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Assembler programming.
• Proficiency with IBM Assembler language.
• Deep understanding of mainframe operating systems, specifically z/OS.
• Practical knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to optimize system performance and ensure technical design compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
