Description

You will design, implement, and manage automation solutions across mainframe environments to eliminate manual intervention.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automated solutions for IPLs, application recovery, and auto ticket generation.
• Manage automation tool functionality, design, integration, and implementation across multiple complexes and LPARs.
• Execute migration projects between CA-OPS/MVS and IBM System Automation.
• Support automation applications through z/OS upgrades, data center consolidations, and CPU refreshes.
• Provide 24/7 on-call automation support on a rotational basis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Mainframe DB2 Administration.
• Expertise in IBM SA z/OS and CA-OPS/MVS.
• Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE programming.
• Experience managing infrastructure critical event management, remote console access, and paging.
• Understanding of infrastructure restore processes during DR activities and tests.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, diagnostics, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Ability to perform feasibility studies and recommend automation solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AF Operator or BMC Mainview AO.
