Description

You will design, implement, and manage mainframe automation solutions across multiple complexes and LPARs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automated solutions to eliminate manual intervention, including automated IPLs, application recovery, and auto ticket generation.
• Own the full lifecycle of automation tool functionality, including design, integration, and implementation.
• Manage migration projects between CA-OPS/MVS and IBM System Automation.
• Support automation applications through z/OS upgrades, data center consolidations, CPU refreshes, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies to recommend automation solutions across all mainframe environments.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in Mainframe System Automation.
• Deep knowledge of IBM SA z/OS and CA OPS/MVS.
• Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE programming.
• Experience with z/OS installation, configuration, debugging, and problem analysis.
• Proven experience managing migrations between CA-OPS/MVS and IBM System Automation.
• Ability to support multiple complexes and LPARs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AF Operator and BMC Mainview AO.
