Description

Provide level two production application support for IBM Mainframe environments.

Monitor application health using Splunk and Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot job output, validate error messages, and interpret error codes.
• Manage job execution for standalone, scheduled, iterative, and triggered jobs.
• Identify job code issues and manage necessary escalations for fixes.
• Execute incident and change management processes for production applications.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in IBM Mainframe level two support.
• Hands-on experience with SARP, SARRR, and IOF.
• Proficiency in technical troubleshooting of job steps and return codes.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and AWS-deployed infrastructure.
• Basic database skills using SQL and Oracle.
• Experience supporting multi-application environments within the banking or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with application monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
