You will bridge the gap between technical mainframe processes and business requirements within the payments domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex program logic into clear business terms for stakeholders.
• Analyze payment lifecycles, SWIFT messaging, and security settlement processes.
• Apply domain expertise to resolve issues within cash payment systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to document and explain system behaviors.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis or development within a mainframe environment.
• Proficiency in Adabas Natural, JCL, and TSO.
• Deep domain knowledge of Cash Payments, Payment life cycles, SWIFT messaging, and/or Security Settlement.
• Experience with COBOL, DB2, VSAM, Fileaid, Procs, and Unix.
• Knowledge of Data Transfer protocols including NDM and FTP.
• Familiarity with IBM Z Mainframe, z/OS, and OS/390 Operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile development using Rally or JIRA.
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering to utilize GenAI tools for system behavior analysis.
