Description

You will install, update, and administer Mainframe CICS products and related ISV tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and maintain IBM CICS/MQ and ISV products like BMC MAPR, Fault Analyzer, and Debug Tool.
• Monitor CICS regions, manage region builds, and oversee workload using Mainview and Omegamon.
• Configure CPSM, CICSplex, workload balancing, and high availability.
• Execute changes within company security standards and assist with testing and implementation of new systems.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and interact with management and clients to improve services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe CICS administration.
• Hands-on experience with IBM CICS/MQ administration.
• Proficiency with BMC MAPR, IBM Fault Analyzer, and Debug Tool.
• Experience monitoring CICS regions using Mainview or Omegamon.
• Knowledge of CPSM, CICSplex, and workload balancing.
• Ability to perform administration tasks using various CICS commands.
• Strong understanding of company regulations and security standards.
