Description

Manage and support CICS system administration, z/OS operations, and production stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer CICS systems and provide production support for mainframe environments.
• Manage job control language (JCL) and batch scheduling tools such as CA-7 or Control-M.
• Monitor system performance, tune resources, and ensure high availability of critical services.
• Implement and maintain mainframe security frameworks including RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.
• Utilize TSO/ISPF utilities for dataset management and system troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with JCL and z/OS operating systems.
• Proven expertise in CICS system administration and support.
• Strong background in systems programming and mainframe production operations.
• Knowledge of TSO/ISPF, datasets, and core mainframe tools.
• Familiarity with batch scheduling tools (CA-7, Control-M, or equivalent).
• Understanding of mainframe security frameworks (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL and CICS transaction processing.
• Knowledge of DB2 for z/OS or IMS databases.
