Description

You will administer and support CICS systems within a z/OS mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform CICS system administration, configuration, and support.
• Maintain mainframe operating systems (z/OS) and handle production operations.
• Manage batch scheduling using CA-7, Control-M, or equivalent tools.
• Monitor system performance, tune resources, and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement and manage mainframe security frameworks such as RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe systems programming and support.
• Deep knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL) and TSO/ISPF utilities.
• Proven experience with CICS transaction processing and system administration.
• Strong understanding of z/OS operating system internals and datasets.
• Familiarity with DB2 for z/OS or IMS databases.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL programming and CICS transaction processing.
• Knowledge of mainframe modernization, cloud integration, or automation scripting.
• Familiarity with Workload Manager (WLM) and capacity planning.
