You will develop and maintain mainframe batch and online applications within an IBM z/OS environment, owning the full software development life cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full SDLC for batch and online applications, including analysis, design, coding, and testing.
• Implement changes driven by State or Federal mandates and manage data feeds between Oracle and CA-IDMS.
• Monitor batch production jobs, analyze results, and resolve aborts or system failures.
• Maintain mainframe data encryption using ASPG MegaCryption and mentor other programmers on debugging and deployment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience developing mainframe batch programs using IBM COBOL.
• Extensive experience with CA-IDMS and CA-ADS.
• Proficiency with IBM JCL and utilities including IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEFBR14, and SORT.
• 3 years of experience with Oracle, including writing complex queries, packages, stored procedures, functions, and tables.
• Experience developing and maintaining billing systems for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Hands-on experience with EDI Health Insurance transactions, specifically 837 and 835.
• 5 years of experience working with PHI and HIPAA in complex health organizations.
• 1 year of experience encrypting data with ASPG MegaCryption in an IBM z/OS environment.
