Description

You will maintain and enhance mainframe applications, resolving production issues and implementing custom solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support mainframe front-end applications and backend jobs.
• Perform root cause analysis and deliver code fixes for recurring issues.
• Resolve production incidents within defined SLAs to minimize downtime.
• Design and implement custom solutions based on business requirements.
• Document all fixes, customizations, and support processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL.
• Proficiency with DB2 and SQL.
• Experience using CICS and CA7.
• Working knowledge of Pervasive/Btrieve.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Unix.
