Description

You will design, develop, and maintain COBOL-based solutions within a mainframe environment. Your work ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of application data and IT controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code COBOL programs, integrating JCL and DB2 for efficient data processing.
• Document detailed system specifications and participate in unit testing for planned and unplanned applications.
• Evaluate performance and maintain both internally developed applications and purchased products.
• Implement IT controls to protect data integrity and application availability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of COBOL design and development experience in a mainframe environment.
• Strong proficiency with JCL and DB2.
• Healthcare industry background is required.
• Experience programming in Python alongside COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux.
