Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize applications within a mainframe environment, owning the full development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application changes throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Gather and analyze requirements to translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Implement and support code deployments and turnovers.
• Write and execute unit test scenarios to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, and Db2.
• Experience using Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Ability to manage all lifecycle components including coding, testing, and deployment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
• Strong analytical skills for requirement translation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Payments or Cards domain.
