Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize applications within a mainframe environment, owning the full lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.

You will own the release pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test changes to existing mainframe applications.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Execute unit test scenarios to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Support the full application lifecycle from development and testing to deployment and turnover.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Hands-on expertise with COBOL programming.
• Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
• Experience with VSAM file handling.
• Experience with Db2 database management.
• Knowledge of Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Ability to gather and analyze business requirements effectively.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Payments or Cards domain.
