Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications using COBOL and DB2.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, unit test, and implement changes to existing mainframe systems.
• Analyze complex legacy code to extract and document business rules.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Present technical designs to peers and Product Owners for approval.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on development experience in mainframe environments.
• Strong coding expertise in COBOL and JCL.
• Proficiency with DB2 and VSAM databases.
• Experience using Mainframe Utilities.
• Hands-on experience with CICS and MQ series.
• Experience working within Agile processes.
• Ability to manage the full lifecycle including coding, testing, and deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JAVA and JSON-LD.
